Tidewater and Tulle Travels speaks to the Virginia couple either looking for vacation inspiration or ideas for their honeymoon. Our focus is beautiful editorial imagery and informative curated content with targeted local in mind and global appeal shared every Friday.


Chelsea and her editorial team create targeted ambassador partnerships for travel brands, tourism bureaus, and other destination marketing companies. While each partnership is tailored to each project, a typical ambassador partnership includes live, immersive social media coverage across Tidewater and Tulle's engaged channels, professional photography for social media and publication, blog features spotlighting destination or brand, and/or content creation for the brand.

Because we only feature destinations based off personal experience, Tidewater and Tulle is open to press/FAM trip invitations outside of Virginia and North Carolina through immersive opportunities. If Chelsea is not available for a particular opportunity, then her team of equally talented photographers/writers are great resources to step in when needed.

We are also open to sponsored content that is subject to editorial approval to ensure it aligns with our personal experience motto.


Even though Tidewater and Tulle Travels is a newly launched section of Tidewater and Tulle as of April 2016, it benefits from the already established and growing audience of a relevant wedding publication that is also a founding member of an international wedding blog network called Aisle Society. All travel features become evergreen content and have the potential to reach even further beyond Tidewater and Tulle's social and search channels.

A huge benefit of working with Tidewater and Tulle is that quality professional photography is always part of any project in addition to quality writing. Before coming into the publication world in 2013, Chelsea built and grew a successful wedding photography business for over seven years. While she no longer photographs weddings full-time, she still uses her camera and eye for seeing beauty in all things throughout her adventures. Her editorial travel photography has been featured on the Travel Channel, Travel Pulse, and dozens of wedding publications in the span of her career. Passionate about technology, Tidewater and Tulle is all about being approachable, relevant, knowledgable, and friendly through social media. Whether it's with the more experienced traveler or the new-to-traveling couple, social media continues to evolve, and we are at the forefront of where people are at... and we are excited to share this knowledge with those we meet!

We just don't want to write about a place. We want to get to know the local small business owners who serve visitors, eat food that best represents the destination, and find locally-made products to share with loved ones. We organically weave in stories about a destination whenever we can; this is what we believe is the heart behind travel! Specifically, our favorite kind of insta-storytelling is done through Facebook Live broadcasts and Instagram Stories!
